Brad Satow's '79 Mustang is getting some
cooling upgrades and tire/wheel options for
2015. Brad is adding a Meziere Electric water
pump for improved cooling and engine
temperature control needed for more power
and more consistent runs. Brad is adding NHRA
approved charging posts for additional amps to
power the water pump/cooling fans in the pit
area between rounds. Brad is also going to a 27
inch tall Hoosier QT Pro rear tire for more top
end on Nitrous runs than the current 26 inch tall
tire. After breaking into the 10.20s in 2014, he is
hoping to run in the low 10's in 2015.

Tim Schmoyer's '79 Cobra is getting some major
updated his Trick Flow heads with upgraded
hardware, valve and port work, as well as fully
porting his Edelbrock Torker 2 Intake. This
should improve his ETs enough to also install a
NHRA approved 6 point roll bar from Maximum
Motorsports. He is also having the 8.8 rear
differential rebuilt to handle the extra torque.
In all Tim is looking for a 45-50 hp gain as well
as shaving .3 sec off his quarter mile ET.
We'll see!
