NWR's Tim Schmoyer takes the NO. 1

in Open Comp. Tim had a perfect reaction time with
a .000 light on a Pro 5 0 tree in the first round of
qualifying. So far "Mr Perfect" is two for two, as
Tim cut a perfect light at his last test-n-tune event.

Rain at Atco, NJ halts The NMRA Ford Nationals.
NWR's Brad Satow and Tim Schmoyer traveled to Atco
Raceway to do battle in Open Comp at the 8th Annual Ford
Nationals. Tim struck first with a No. 1 Qualifying Spot with a
perfect .000 reaction time in the 9527 OC Cobra. Brad struck
next with a trip to the Quarter Finals before the rain would
delay eliminations until the Chicago event. A new NWR record
was set at Atco- Best 1/4 mile ET on Motor (11.38)

first Super Bowl NMRA event. A brake failure on the 3rd
practice attempt meant scrambling to make the repair before
Atco elims.continued. The 9464 OC Mustang managed to
make it to the line for Brad's first Semi Final Round from Atco
and for his first 1st Round appearance in the Super Bowl.

24th overall on WGI's 3.4 mile Long Course on Saturday.
On Sunday, Brad finished 7th in class and 21st overall
on the 2.45 mile Short Course. Finishing both races
earned Brad his SCCA Regional Competition License.
