NWR going back to a C-4 for 2010 After
switching from a Ford C-4 to a Tremec 5-speed
over five years ago, it's time to change back . This
Competition C-4 from Frank Lupos Pro-Formance
Transmissions features a full manual reverse shift
pattern with trans-brake operation, hardened input
shaft, rollerized planetary, billet servo cover, deep
pan, (5) five clutch high drum, and high
performance bands and clutches. This C-4 is
matched with an 10 in. FL Dynamic Race
Converter and an SFI approved bellhousing and
flexplate. This transmission will use BG Synthetic
ATF 312 for its thermal stability and anti-oxidation
protection.





NWR Completes SCCA Double Drivers School
The Wash. DC Region SCCA held their first
double drivers school in March'10 at Summit Point
Raceway,VW. Over 60 students attended the
event including driver/owner Brad Satow in the #
20 American Sedan Mustang. The 4 day school
consisted of multiple classroom and on track
sessions. The NWR crew overcame many
obstacles to keep the #20 going, as car attrition
was pretty high by day four. The highlight of the
event was a 4th place finish in Brad's first student
roadrace in which he passed several cars. NWR
will race at NJ Motorsports Park for the first time
later this year in October.
NWR competes in two local NMRA/NMCA National Drag Race
events. After only 8 runs of practice in 2010 with the new C4,
NWR headed to Atco, NJ for the 18th Annual NMRA Ford Nationals.
Brad Satow in the #9464 Open Comp Mustang qualified 9th and
Two NWR records were broke at Atco including: Best 330ft time
ever (4.681) and Best 1/4 mile ET on motor (11.43)
After more changes to the Mustang, NWR was back at Maple Grove
Raceway for the 8th annual NMCA Muscle Car Nationals. Brad
qualified 10th in Open Comp and took another first round win on a
11.70 index. This was his first round win ever with the NMCA. NWR
set an new Best 60ft time ever (1.569) at the event.

Raceway TNT July 9th, 2010. The
run was made on an 8" Hoosier QT
Pro. The old et record of 11.133 was
set earlier in the year.
